Baxterville School has been blessed to obtain a $5,000 grant from Lowe's.    This grant money will be used toward creating an outdoor classroom in front of the elementary building next to the flag pole. Additional money will come from other donations and fundraisers.  

The cost for the outdoor classroom and tables will cost approximately $8,000.    This outdoor classroom will consist of:

• Five Metal Picnic Tables
• A Butterfly Garden
• Bird Feeders
• A Fountain, etc

With this classroom, our students can enjoy having class outside - doing projects, etc.

We are also in the process of upgrading the middle school playground at this time.  A new volleyball net has been ordered.  Suggestions for that playground at the last PTO meeting was to install a pavilion (could be used for outdoor class activities, etc), new basketball goals, and new benches for that areas.
